Who we do this for

Five services, three fairly different conversations. Tell us which one you're having and we'll skip the rest.

Homeowners & renovators

Usually the first lift you've ever bought, so the questions are practical ones: will it fit, what does it cost, and how long is the house a building site. Nothing gets ordered until those three have honest answers.

Start withRide one in Braeside

Architects, builders & developers

Shaft dimensions, pit depths and loadings early enough to design around, then a project manager who talks to your site supervisor directly. Where the program is tight, the lift can arrive assembled and be craned in.

Body corporates & facility managers

An ageing lift, a compliance deadline, or a maintenance provider you've had enough of. We take on lifts we didn't install, and where replacement is the answer the existing shaft can usually be reused.

The unglamorous half

A lift is regulated plant, not an appliance. Most of what goes wrong on a lift project goes wrong on paper long before anyone picks up a tool — a surveyor wanting engineering nobody commissioned, a certificate arriving weeks after the client moved in.

Everything opposite is ours to produce, chase or attend. Not your builder's, and not yours.

What we handle

Standards
AS1735 for the lift, NCC E3.6 for the building, and the DDA wherever access is part of the brief.
Design registration
Our lifts are design registered against Australian standards, which settles most of the permit question before a drawing is issued.
Site engineering
Site-specific shaft and structural drawings where the building needs them, issued to your surveyor.
Trade coordination
Builder, electrician and concreter sequenced against your program by our project manager — and the crane, where we're using one.
Commissioning
Testing, certification and handover, plus time on site with whoever will actually be using the lift.
Statutory inspections
Booked, attended and documented on schedule under a maintenance agreement. You don't track the dates.

The usual questions

How long does lift installation take?

Installation timeframes vary depending on the type of lift and building requirements. Our Australian made modular lifts can be installed in as little as two days, whereas our disassembled lifts may take longer. We'll provide a detailed timeline during your consultation.

What maintenance is required for lifts?

Regular servicing is essential for safety and longevity. We recommend 6-monthly maintenance visits which include safety checks, mechanical inspections, and compliance testing. Our service plans ensure your lift operates smoothly year-round.

Can you retrofit a lift into an existing home?

Yes, we specialise in retrofit installations for existing homes. Our team assesses your property's structure and works with you to design a solution that integrates seamlessly with minimal disruption to your home.

What is the typical lifespan of a lift?

With proper maintenance, our lifts typically last 20-25 years. Regular servicing and timely component replacements can extend this further. We also offer modernisation services to upgrade older lifts with the latest technology.

Do you offer emergency call-out services?

Yes, we provide 24/7 emergency support for all our clients. If you experience a breakdown or safety concern, our technicians are available to respond quickly and resolve the issue.

Do I need planning permission?

Our lifts are design registered against Australian standards, covering most permissions. We assist with site-specific engineering where needed.
