Southern Lifts provided and operated a temporary Mobilift to enable wheelchair field access at the 2025 AFL Big Freeze.
The Challenge
The AFL Big Freeze required wheelchair accessibility to the field level for the trophy presentation and post-game celebrations. The solution needed to be temporary, portable, and capable of safely transporting people to field level from the elevated stadium concourse.
Our Solution
We deployed our Mobilift - a mobile platform lift specifically designed for temporary events. The lift was installed and commissioned on game day, providing safe and dignified access throughout the event.
The Outcome
Successful wheelchair access for all participants during the trophy presentation. The temporary installation was completed without any disruption to the stadium infrastructure or game day operations.
